Mumbai, the city of dreams was attacked by terrorist on 26/11 night.
The siege continued for 59 long hours & finally our NSG commandos did the job at there level best . Now this can be known by reading any of the newspapers or watching any of the 24*7news channels which are filled with every minute detail possible of all this mass destruction.

A city was fighting a nightmare & the politicians played their own game of criticising the ruling government .This was the time to unite . I get a feeling of disgrace over all of them (pity on them) & another fact is again practically explained in an unsaid manner that why doesn't any politician die in any of the terrorist attacks. They still fight for the chair & power which we grant them in accord . The saga of these attacks would calm after some days & then our damn politicians will do the job of visiting &paying homage to the relatives of the deads . The limit of patience was crossed by the CM himself Mr. Vilasrao Deshmukh when he himslef addressing a press conference couldn't answer about the no. of terrorists being behind the attack .They will never come out of the nutshell & are too coward to act or respond.

Coverage of TV channels ??? Yup !the 24*7 news channels had got something to show or rather stick .Which was covered by there brave correspondents .The question arises "ARE THE CORRESPONDENTS REALLY BRAVE?" I personally feel that sometimes being genuine is more important then hyping your own acts .Taking an example ...Star News in spite of showing regrets for the lives lost the correspondents flaunted there own acts of courage themselves as soon as the military operation was over . Actually what media persons did was to be around the line of danger but not in danger . They do that for TRP's & all .Sometimes it is over hyped & gradually news gets distorted . What about the men who played with their own lives & those who lost .They didn't do that for TRP's & money . They really love their country .Their sacrifice should have been prioritised . The point is also like their sacrifice doesn't need any recognition of a politician , a medal or a TV news channels view or any exclusive show on them ,it already is invaluable.

Somehow these brutal acts of violence should come to an end .Nothing will happen cursing & criticising politicians or govt. We got to take steps on our own level & alter the "nothing gonna change "attitude .

Sustain the pain,
Nothing to lose nothing to gain;
I can’t pretend,
to accept it all,
Here I am walking tall.

Why do you have to abstain yourself?
C’mon now get a hold of yourself,
Roll out of your bed;
Rise up and take a step ahead.

Stand up for what’s right and what’s wrong
Don’t cry on what has gone;
Life is short,
death is long,
Before it’s too late to move on.

The fire inside me wants to come out
for crying out loud
The song of revolution
Its time for my retribution

I am invincible as long as I'm alive
It is not that easy to survive
In this life you could lead if you only believe
and in order to achieve what you need

Sustain the pain ;
Sustain the pain.....

Cursing Humour !!!

PHEw!!! [KaRz(Curse) ...(Karzzzi ) Imesh Ishammiyya(He- mess Reshmaiyya) ]
CUrsE No.:

i) 'Rishi kapoor' is seeking a place to hide and is cursing himself for acting in Karz(1980).
ii) 'R.K'. is cursing India to be 'democratic' , if it wouldn't have been democratic he would have banned 'He-mess '.Not getting a place to cry he weeps for hours sitting near the shit pot after watching KaRzz promos (yuk!).
iii) He-mess was given a schedule of exercise to increase his facial expressions by Baba Ramdev. But it didn't work & He-mess still looks expressionless on-screen . He curses B.R. ........

[Others {way back}]

i)'TaShAn': Kareena possessed Paris Hilton (Hollywood hottieeeee...) figure (even copied her expressions )& cursed yashraj for insisting size (0) zero look as the film flopped .
ii)'Dus ':( yes the movie {years ago} didnt make anything on box office ) Shilpa Shetty copied Lara Croft look & cursed herself for beleiving that the Tomb Raider was a flop .She supposed that no one would catch her replicating as the movie flopped.
iii)'Ankahee': Esha Deol simulating Madonna's haircut in the movie made it a flop .
She cursed Madonna as she turned 40. Thereafter Esha has an unlucky no. that is 40.

List goes on & on , I guess , I myself have started cursing them all. Enough is enough , no one's genuine in bollywood (except some).

"duh. .!i don't wanna go!!" i said this to myself. .as soon as my cell. .snoozed for almost the 5th time. .=D. .i was juz not willin' to go to school. .dunno. .why. .(though i didn't have any test . .nor did i have to submit my recent exam report card to my teacher=D). .but then i somehow unwillingly woke up. .!..i was getting ready for my school. .and suddenly . .shivika(my best friend) rang up to know if i were going. .! i said yes. .n she told that she 'd pick me up. .!!i was okay at the moment but desperately wanted to stay back. .!after a few minutes, she called up again . .and said she was not coming with me n 'd be takin her younger bro with her. .!!it further added to my "not goin to the skool plan";) moreover i was getting late n had no means to go except my bicycle. . n this was how . .i better thought to chuk school. .:D

merely 5 minz had passed. .n her mum called. .i was astounded at the moment. .:o
n she said. ."beta(in hindi. .auntys do address like that)shivika has forgotten her bagpack. .could you take it to the skhool. .??"
woaa!woht should i do now. .?i thought. .for the moment ..but i said . .that i'd be takin' her bag with me!. .pheww. .it ruined my plan. .!!:(. .then i dressed up 'gain n sped along with my bicycle to her place(not really . .the bicycle hardly had any air in its tyres). .took the bag n dragged my bicycle again. .:( i was already late for the school. .but was a bit happy on the other side. .since i had a valid excuse!:D
i reached the school somehow. .duh!. .n guess what. .?!. . .the princi (whoops!respected principal sir!)was standing at the gate. .!!"NOT AGAIN!" i thought. .!
(i am usually getting harsh scoldings for getting late always. .:D. .).. .but what did i see. .?! he was smiling at me. .he asked the reason. .i blatantly said the TRUTH!;)
he asked me to stand in the late comer's queue. .!there i was. .standing alone with no 12thies around. .!(yeah i am in grade 12th. .:)). .it added to my worries. .since i still had to face the HITLER . .LOL!..yeah!this is what many pupils state chauhan ma'am(whoopz !RESPECTED. .too. .)as!

but the reality was totally antagonistic to my expectations!:-) it was hardly what i expected!. .no scolding nor any lectures. .*yawn* but i was sent to the class straight away. .!!seemed. .god was happy ' at my deed. .!(Oh..!did i forget to mention 'bout my DEED. .?ey,i took my friend's bag to the school anyhow. .no matter how n what the circumstances were :D)

Shear Fun!!

Me & my school time friend Shailendra (now a cadet of NDA in NAVAL ACADEMY GOA) were ragging some fuchchaas (slang term for a fresher). He always visits our college when on a leave from the Academy & rags just for fun . I was teasing him by calling him' Ajay Devgun' of 'Major Saab' (cadet 'Virendra Pratap'HA HA!!). Gradually fed up of ragging juniors ,we thought of ragging a 2Nd year student(initially it was his thought ).We sent a junior to call the girl sitting next to us in canteen .He followed our orders & she came to us . We called ourselves her seniors(3rd yr) & she trusted (most stupid thing she did). But she had to as we were too confident saying the same.
We started the conversation with an intro(which she couldn't give in a proper 'funda') .Shailendra being a cadet is a master in ragging , so he firstly humiliated her by proving her that she doesn't deserve to be an 'engineer'.
Then we moved on to prove the same thing again and again , which eventually made her feel inferior (she gave us a" kill you" look) . Even though after this much embarrassment she kept on smiling which annoyed me the most(she was good looking but acted over smart ). Apart from this all , we both also have a heart inside our (respective)chests.
So after 40 odd minutes , we concluded our freaking experiment by telling her the truth.
After knowing the mystery she was dazzled (or shocked) & cursed herself by holding her head. We were ready to pay the price for our mischief so we insisted her to ask for a treat .
But she being lenient on us , asked only for chocolates (girls do love them a lot). Finally we apologised casually (significantly because of her gender). At last she grinned at us when we glared at her later in canteen .
Its hard to explain what it feels like to make a fool of anyone like that . Shailendra ' rocks' as he played the major role in our rascality .And he has got memories to share with his fellow cadets there in the Academy .We both truly wont forget this incident.A lesson for that girl , she simply wont forget both of us(that's for sure).

I never thought you would go away

Ever since I saw your face
I was quiet amazed
Nothing in my life has been the same
I use to walk around just thinking your name

I never thought you would go away

Without you my world would end
I keep on searching for you everywhere
You looked at me, you smiled at me
But now, you walk away....

I never thought you would go away

It's not that I can't live without you
It’s just that I don't even want to try
You don’t, but I do care
What you did wasn’t fair

I never thought you would go away

With a broken heart
What could I say?
I thought,
You were here to stay

I never thought you would go away

The sky is crying
Clouds are screaming
Everything’s seems so unusual
Since you left me dying

I never thought you would go away

Shattered dreams
Broken heart
Weeping eyes
We fall apart

I never thought you would go away

I can't get you off of my mind
God knows I've tried
Hide my tears in the pouring rain
Had my share of hurt and pain

I never thought you would go away

Life seems meaningless without you
You are the one I need
I kept my love inside
Come back, before I die

I never thought you would go away

Chequered Flag!!

23 9 2008

7:21 PM
It was dusk half an hour before. And I was solving a Network Analysis (NAS) numerical on coaching. Suddenly my cell rang & I responded.
" This is Kaustubh ' result ' has come & I have passed with 61.4% " listening to this 'R' word I lost my calm (damn! I merely panicked). Me : " you not kidding right?".
Kaustubh: "I swear damn it your roll no. is 46 huh!!".
Me : "yes 46 I would kill u if you r pranking u bastard".
Kaustubh : "bye its charging me ".
Me : "OK bye".
(Adrenaline rushed into my mind) Two minutes later my cell rang again & it was the same no. my hands shivering to answer it , finally i told my heart to calm down and answered the call." you passed man you passed " (the same voice echoes in my thoughts up til now).
Me : "What what are u ......u not joking ...I would kill u .... u moron... swear now .
Kaustubh "Teri kasam ,Meri kasam ,Meri Bhabhi ki kasam....etc etc (censored things too )... u have 81 in a subject i don't know which one it is?(it was civil).
Me : "u still not joking right " i yelled like an animal , standing at the corner of the street . Gradually after 2 more minutes I came back on earth & saw 10 eyes(paired human eyes ..."matlab 5 chaps yaar" ) looking at me astonishingly. I laughed at my gesture a minute later & justified there curiousness's of watching me like that . At that moment I saw a "chequered flag" flown in front of me as if I had won a race or anything . I cleared my mind & informed my dad. That was all overwhelming . I returned home in no time eager to clarify my result myself.Firstly the server didn't work ,but i got calls from my other friends giving me that royal news (ha ha!!).Finally at 8:08PM I saw my result & was glad ,filled with bliss, walking on air, on seventh heaven,on cloud nine , (ahem-ahem!!!)in her arms etc etc...But this special moment will surely become a memory sometime in future . I simply won't forget this "chequered flag" .

@ a petrol station.....

21st sept. 2008

09 :00 pm

"Hellllo puneet , do you have an oil can or something similar to it"
"man,i am here at petrol station and desperately need a can to get some petrol.....can u find one for me"
"well.....lemme c......"
"ok call me if u find 1"
he sounded desperate....

i found a dirty oil can (with a usual crappy smell of oil....... ahhhh)
"yes harshal,i found 1"
"wait there i will b there in a minute"

v reached a far away petrol station

damn it......!!!!!!! "
i saw people queue-ing up at the petrol station.......
with vehicles and cans in hand.
i hv seen queues at railway station , movie halls nd even at petrol stations bt this wasnt the same as it use to be
ppl yelling nd squalling

big mess....!!!!
Well - I’d say it doesn’t take much to start any chaos in the town huh?

A few hours ago, people, or rather, bikes were flocking petrol stations in town to fill up their tanks before the petrol station operators go on strike on the 22nd.

People here rushed to petrol station like no tomorrow one....!!!!
I wanted to take photos , too bad I left my camera at home....!!!

petrol filling agents (petrolwale bhaiyas in local language)
acted as if they were bouncers of bar or something....

nd on the top of this, songs were played at the petrol station.....(wtf......!!!!!!!!!! )
while ppl quarreled to get their tanks full......
"Sinbhad the sailor sunlo sunlo" (ya.....rock on rocks.......its evrywhere..............yay!!!!)
was the song being played....
it isnt a usual scene in our city (oh srry its town oh srry village....)

songs had its own effect on unclejis and aunties......nd only girl in blue.....
staring at me nd then me giving back her a "should-i-help-u" look
bt got no response

ok moving on

though ppl were informed that the station owners will be on strike from tomorrow onwards nd petrol price may be increased further
it was like a last call for all late risers.....

harshal noticed that ppl with cans got petrol earlier than others
obviouisly he wanted to get his work done faster (lazy fella....!!!!!)

I blame the government for surprising us with increases in petrol price that the people now are suffering from 'highpetrophobia' already.

newayz there were some characters i would like to describe...

a man about 40-45 with mustache he was one of those 'wanna be' politician types.....his appearances resembling to 'gabar's gang member' telling ppl to stay calm and queue up....damn him why do ppl show their authority evrywhere....

and some police officials were placed to take carethat nothing wrong may occur.....????

a lady from nowhere came there, riding a motorcycle....
the 'petrol walla' was like "madam pehle aap"(first you)
though there was a huge queue to follow....
the official questioned his generosity.....
the petrol walla responded.....
"ladies first....understand"
getleman's grin(?) on his face.....
which was quiet deceptive
she left in no time....
with her tank full
while mans in queue stood there staring at her dumbstrucked nd they say women are dicriminated in India....???

finally harshal queued up....he stood there silently waiting for his turn.....

after about 15-20mins

HOLY SHIT.....!!!!!!

when it was harshal's turn.....
the same petrol walla said " petrol is over......!!!!!"
nd we were like "f * ( !<>
i wanted to get the hell out of him.....but what to do.....there were many of them like me who wanted to do the same.... we had no option but to go back....while we saw some ppl still stating there waiting that there may be some hope

life is tough....!!!

The Sky above is also weeping ,
though in the form of rain,
but same as the feel inside my heart,
this is spiritual & divine but only confined to me
& my soul,
simply not for anyone else to understand.

After days of bliss & nights of glories,
yet again dark cloud reign my heart,
yet not too far neither too close,
i back-up myself to see a glimpse of hope,
this is how unimportant things turn out to be at last,
i guess they hurt ,
nevertheless loosing heart is not the last path,
but fighting to sustain the shock,
gradually will be my path.

All my efforts have gone in vain ,
these are memories of pain,
but I have my pride to maintain,
still trying to pertain,
they played with my heart only to entertain,
though i have no regrets in order to sustain ,
in the fond memory of my pain ,
I write these splendid words which eventually are of
no use to me but only to drain what is in my heart(pain).

a new beginning.....?!?!?!?

"get up...!!!" , my dad shouted
6:45 on the clock and i was still lying semi-naked in my bed (ya that's wat i learned from some hollywood movies :p)

4th August 2008,Monday
(nt a gud day...6 more days yet to survive to finish up d week...)
my first day of second year of college
(obviously we were supposed to be in college on 21st July.....who cares..!!!)

"get up....else you will get late" my dad said again
"just 5 mins dad....." ,i said with my eyes still shut (as usual ;))
i got up after 15 mins rubbing my eyes ( :) )
i got up at 7am, having went to bed at the ridiculous time of 10pm (normally i don’t go to bed ’til 12pm).So getting up wasn’t too bad.. then again it’s a novelty, it won’t be so painless in a few weeks time once the weather gets worse and the work gets harder

i saw my face in mirror, found the similar ugly luking face as every day, staring at me.....!!!

hell ya !!!
i am in second year now,
its like being an animal who's unleashed after being prisoned for past 1 year.
i am a senior now and i am gonna get the hell outta my bloody juniors....
"but remember, with more power comes more responsibility"
(ha ha ha....!!!!!)
(its the same dialogue from spiderman.....)

i am not a spiderman but a monster-alike figure for my juniors....for sure
thoughts of being a senior and first day prevailed in my mind as time was ticking as fast as speedster show abs akhtar's pace ball
(controversial pindi express (?),
tht doesnt makes a sense....does it......???? )

"SHIT !!! ", i said
still brushing my teeths standing at the same spot for more than 10 minutes
i read the newspaper....(my day doesn't start without a newspaper)
i went runing to my bus stop.....
i didnt wanted to get late on my first day , as i used to be last year...(another sign of indolence)
"finally i am here...hah !!!" i said panting
well the bus arrived after 15 mins
damn it...!!!
not a good start for day no.1
well we eventually reached college campus....
the best place in world after my home,school...
i just luv it
well i love to be in the college but not inside the class attending useless classes which have no meaning for a computer science engineering studenti dnt know why the hell in this world v engineering students are tortured this sucks big time....!!!

well first day started quiet well...first lecture being M-3(Mathematics iii) no intro b/w students nd faculty......??a gud time pass and a usual custom on 1st day but nobody cared to ask for our if v r 'popular'
started off with finite diff.,seems quiet interesting (since it ws easy 4 me 2 solve those ques.)Next was DCS (Digital Circuit System) an electronic sub...

nd neXT...>>>

and then DCS lab
moving on v had DS(Data Structure) class ,one of mY fav it involves programming...and i love coding in c++...
Programming has always been my strong spot.
so it was cool.....i liked way
day ended up with EDC (Electronics Devices & Circuits),
another electronic sub....yuck.....!!!

So first day over and done with, and things ran smoothly for me.
Now i have to do it all over again tomorrow and then after that nd so on......
life goes on....!!!!

P.S: i am srry.
i kno its too late to post this part but wat to do.....
u kno how LAZ......................................Y i am.
i'l consider it next tym nd post on appropriate tym.
thank u 4 bearing it with me...
thanx shafi who reminded me of posting this entry on the blog....

9/11 ...........

9/11,ya the famous date to make one retrieve abut the WTC terrorist attack .
But it was in 2001 and on this date every year all news columns are filled with everything regarding the sad incident, but i ain't do the same .The date i m talking abt is 9/11
2007 (Sept 11 2007)
It has an utmost significance in my life .It was my first day to college .Now it is exactly a year back from now (9/11 2008).
I don't know how these 365 precious days have passed like .It seems to me it only took a fraction of a second and i sprinted a year ahead (like Bolt during olympics!!).Many screwing incidents which turned out to be lessons have become memories now.

On to the point , Sept 11 2007 , I woke up and got ready to wear best of my outfits . Went to the bus stop to catch the college bus , there were a few pharmacy
seniors (I didn't know abt the fact that they were not BE students), so i gave them a general intro.I was wearing a jeans and a shirt(printed & colourful) which annoyed them all both in bus and in college . To add to there annoyance was a brand new belt( which was taken by a Senior a day later).Went to college building without looking upwards .
I was the last one to enter the classroom .The first lecture was of Engg. Chemistry then BEE BE C.Skill ED M1 to follow .The college was new so were the furniture and gave away a redolence what newly furnished wood gives .The day was just about average (but now it does matter a lot). That day I was a bit depressed as all of my classmates seemed as awkward as dumb fellows or as ignorant as statues. But finally my perceptions changed and I found friends which are invaluable.

Nowadays college has become the next best place after my home to spend time at.
This one year has changed me , now I have discovered a creative self of mine which makes me to blog and share things . I am finally glad to b a member of the blogosphere.

Book i read a few days back!!

i have read the book "THE 3 MISTAKES OF MY LIFE"
by Chetan Bhagat. The book is all about fun & tells about
communal people playing hypocrites .One can learn a bit.
The character-sketches r shown quite clearly & the rest part
is left 4 one's imagination , this makes it more interesting

Nevertheless its a book by an Indian author so every Indian
would like it.The words & language used r pretty much
known if one has read the preceding books of the
author. The style of telling story is the one thing which makes
a author (successful one ) and that's the thing which has made
him the bestseller novelist (huh!!).The use of the F-WORD is
quite reoccurring in the book .It makes one think how the word
has lost its weirdness .The more u use it , the less it means.
But the middle chapters r stretched too much .
n ahem ahem !! acts ( ) r described in hell of a detail .
This is a story based book , which has some things really
difficult to digest as far real life is concerned . But worth
reading .

RoCK oN !!!

rOcK oN..!!!
Hell ya..!!!

pichle saat dino mein.....nana na na na
nana na na na nana na na na na nana na

i'm srry for repeating that "na na"
i kno its more than required.....
but what to do.....?
the song is so gud its sticked to my tongue...........nana na na
cant stop myself doing na na na na
awesome song...!!!!
the film is as ROCKING as the title is...!!!

so here it is our first-------------------->>>>>>
(is there nething lyk that or i just coined in a new phrase.....?)

-quiet promising
-real fun stuff
-must watch movie

real cool music + so-so acting + usual indian drama + good cinematography = ROCK ON

well the movie which has certainly changed perception abt rock music in minds of various ppl who consider lovers of rock ( youngsters ) as crazy nd insane who wear too long hair and play music too loud
a very brave attempt by the makers who presented the rock in its actual conventional form cnt believe bollywood film makers can even think of doing something like this......
its lyk a 'Dream movi' for all those (including ME......phew...!!!!!) who were tired of usual indian romantic/action films.....nd ofcourse those fake/immitated/sequel/remix crap movis..........ahhhh long list

good acting by director turned debut actor cum singer farhan....
nd is co-producer of the movie...
so much work eh..?
(how does he handle all this...........?)

prachi desai
YES..!!! that's right
its that (K)ekta (k)apoor's (K)asam se-fame tv actress (k k k ne more k's remaining...?)
(yes, i kno you watch those saas-bahu serials...:):))
jhalak dikhlaja winner.........(wat is that....?)

tried her best but ended up being in a supporting role....
the same can be said for the other two members of the band.
arjun rampal did a quiet good job
you can see so many new faces....
they did nice work

Abt d storyline:
its a story abt 4 frnds.....(frnds ? no such detail though)
who form a rock band 'MAGIK'
nd dream to becum no.1 rock band of india (yes i know u also want to do same....LOSER..!!!)
finally they get a platform to perform in V 's reality rockband show
nd how there life turns out to be int he end......

The flash backs and flash forwards may annoy you a bit...
and yes the viewer is invited to yawn once or twice
but overall a nice decent movie........
cant call it a family movie....
but yes you can watch it with your family (no rakhi sawant and no item no's)
(thank god...!!!!!)

thumbs up to Abhishek Kapoor, the director
he did a wonderful job
wel it seems like a rabbit from magicians hat.
the music is super cool.....all thanks to SEL(Shankar Ehsaan Loy)
the trio showed their "MAGIK" once again.......
conventional rock music.....a bit slow and bit a bit fast
very soothing nd realistic
music to tap ur feet
dis songs will stay on the chart for a long time
farhan has a super rocking voice quality
apt for rock songs (atleast :)).
actualy he shud think abt starting a rock band group.....(lyrics toh *papa* likh hi denge)
ne one interested.....?
send in ur entries at

Feels as refreshing as farhan's debut directorial flick dil chahta hai....
wel one cant imagine Javed Akhtar writing such wonderful lyrics for rock songs.....
too gud...must hear

if you are an ardent lover of rock music....
u are certainly gonna lyk this and
even those who hav even a bit of interest in music...

i guess a new addition in my fav movies....!!!

In d end "ROCK ON" rocks..........!!!!

*top songs* : Pichle saat dino, rock on , socha hai, jo tum ho to,yeh tumhari meri baatein.
*music rating* : 4.5/5.0
*movie rating* : 4.0/5.0

P.S: the ratings are my own.
go and watch it on your own to find out wat actualy it is.
from my side,a must watch movie...

The village man accompanying us there.

(Left to right) CHARLIE N HIS
FRIEND [The Pharmacy Duo] With
IN CORNER!!!!!!!!!

For the first time in my life I travelled a half an hour journey on the roof of a bus .
At first I was frightened of getting up there but I didnt have any other option .
This experience revealed me some of the rare ground realities i have ever come across.
A village man negotiating for a 5/-rs fare amazed me(earn it to spend it & to know its value
'I mumbled it to myself in my thoughts ').And to add to my astonishing ride the conductor came on to the roof to get paid ; that too in a running bus . It was all good to see him balancing himself (had he been trained a bit more ...he must have earned India an olympic gold medal in gymnastics.....huh!!!) .I was taught a practical lesson what the books couldn't teach me for years .These small incidents make a big impact on how one takes life as . I simply won't forget this whole experience .
To accompany me there on top of the bus were a few seniors of MIT,who bunked for watching movie in Adlabs(yes v finally got one in our village or rather two....) ; plus a pharmacy duo & two more of MIT 3rd sem.And the wind had its own part to play.
Its a one time experience which is truely unforgettable .

I missed it when i had lost it .
I realised its importance when it was not with me .
I used to spend hours with it.
Even hours passed like seconds;
i enjoyed every moment with it.
I guess i am addicted to it.
Its so important that i can't live without it.

Looking & staring at it for hours was a common practice ;
touching it gave my fingers
a miraculous joy. I am always glad with it .
It has always done whatever i wanted it to follow ;
one would never get a follower like it .
Sometimes my mom scolds me to leave it .
But i called it my buddy and never left it .
Now, after two long days without it,
I'm again with it .
Once again I'm feeling ecstatic with it .
My buddy had gone for refurbishment .
Now its working with greater speed & efficiency.
My Buddy is my.................................... PC (rather "Internet freak PC") .
Its the best Buddy in the world.

"If I were to look over the whole world to find out the country most richly endowed with all the wealth, power and beauty that nature can bestow - in some parts a very paradise on earth - I should point to India ."

F.Max Muller
hey ppl...!!!!
so it was independence day again...
the 61st aniversary of our freedom from british rule....
but what actually is freedom....?
this poem by Rabindranath Tagore clarifies wat it is ?

Freedom from fear is the freedom

I claim for you my motherland!
Freedom from the burden of the ages,
bending your head,breaking your back,
blinding your eyes to the beckoningcall of the future;
Freedom from the shackles of slumber wherewith
you fasten yourself in night's stillness,
mistrusting the star that speaks of truth's adventurous paths;
freedom from the anarchy of destiny
whole sails are weakly yielded to the blind uncertain winds,
and the helm to a hand ever rigid and cold as death.
Freedom from the insult of dwelling in a puppet's world,
where movements are started through brainless wires,
repeated through mindless habits,
where figures wait with patience and obedience for the master of show,
to be stirred into a mimicry of life.

In the first line, Tagore gives an unusual definition for freedom. He does not say that freedom means power, strength or authority. He defines it as freedom from fear. Thought deeply, one can understand that behind the smallest dearth of freedom, fear lies lurking. This is true not only politically or intellectually, but spiritually as well.Tagore rejects the submission to destiny, comparing a life without freedom with a mimicry. His ideas show his patriotism,a tremendous intellect and a great understanding of the dynamics of human mind and society.
This poem speaks to me of a problem, not only of his motherland India, but all peoples of all times. It's about being locked into the past's way of doing things, afraid to change, afraid to break out of the mould into the light of Truth. We all have this problem, and Tagore has concisely and sublimely summed it up.

back to independence day........>>>
Today we come together,

Be the cause for the unity,

Make it Beautiful day another..

Fight against corruption,

Spurl the flag of On NATION

Happy Independence Day!

well a day significant for indians all over the globe...

this day has turned out to be , just another holiday for most of us.
i think its time, something has to be done abt it...

well talkin abt Youngistaanis...!!!
the YOUTHS..!!!

v r supposed to b the leaders of tomorrow... [ i was the captain of my school football team :)]
as rightly said,

"The Youth of a Nation are the trustees of Posterity"
Benjamin Disraeli

our freedom was won with great struggle and sacrifice after centuries of servitude to foreign rule. Its important that those of us who belong to the post - independence generation should not take our freedom for granted.

we are free from foreign rule, but what abt problems like corruption,terrorism,communalism,poverty,illiteracy...etc

did freedom fighters fought for this india.......????

nobody at that time wud have ever wondered that our united, peace loving country will turn up this way.
v youths believe we are free now and we demand our rights........

right to vote, express, share and do whateva we wantbut wat abt the duties.......????
duties come along with rights.......

wat we all do is sit in front of tv and curse the present government and say " indya ka kuch nahi hoga.... " (nothings gonna change here)
did anyone of us ever think of changing the system?
" NO"
most of us call politics a "dirty game", with politicians fighting around for power.actualy politics aint is us who's making it dirty.its on us to decide whom v want to elect.
YES YOU !!!! (face it )
so v need to clean out this dirt .

well how is somethings gonna change until and unless wetake a step ahead and fight for whats right and whats wrong....
India has the biggest democracy in the world..........
which means

The constitution gives us a right to vote as soon as we turn 18, i.e., once we become sensible and independent(?) and start deciding what is right and what is not. We can elect the desired candidate.

On the top of it , there are youngsters who doesnt seem to care which way our country is heading to.All they care about is the new flicks, orkut, mobiles, gadgets, clothes, bikes, cars, music and what not. Ask them what our country needs right now and they reply who gives a damn what india needs i m going to settle down in the US (the land of "opportunity" & "terrorism") or abraod & earn big bucks (thats what happiness means to them) and won't come back again in this "dirty useless place".

On the other side.....there are youngsters who show their interest and are really doing their fabulous job in their own fields. some young ppl are working for the good of the country at the grassroots level like there are many who join NGO’s, rallies or help the needy there are youths like Milind Deora ,Rahul Gandhi ,Sachin Pilot, Sindhya etc who r making there presence felt.the youths must urge to change the system ,thats the way this country gonna write its own script .lets hope for a brighter tomorrow and not just hope but work for abetter tomorrow (n a better today " which might b like expecting too much " huh!!!)...

"Serving a motherland is not service - its a responsibility"

Jai Hind........!!!!!!

Another imitated flick !!!!!

Today, bollywood added one more flick to its copycat list. As expected the movie is a remake of hollywood blockbuster of 2003 "Bruce Almighty".

The big b part ws originally played by Morgan Freeman,Sallu by jim Carrey & Pyiyanka by Jennifer Aniston. Its a kind of pity for bollywood (ye nahi sudhrenge) . Afzal Khan really showed nuisance onscreen for 3 long hours .Its a torture sitting in theatre n watching this one.

Nagesh Kukunoor once in a award function said that v are a country of 100 million people n v can not even bring a genuine story out of us.This really is sad .huh!!! when this bollywood gonna grow up & make some genuine movies .Even the posters resemble themselves .........shame

i condemn that.

Independence Day!!!

The 15Th of august : the independence day has not been treated more than a holiday ,nowadays .Many people don't treat it as a national festival/occasion;
same is the case with me.For me its a day to have an appetite of laddooss (moti choor) .
My relatives r teachers so i get this treat . The day is nothing more than a holiday for me too.
It has only brought me a day to rest my striving body.
One can hear the chanting of patriotic songs from the roadside, the school kids enjoying themselves while commuting their ways, the tv channels playing patriotic movie stuff , plus the news channel anchors having special dresses to wear & a tri-color mono to flaunt their ruthless feelings.
The day is of less importance to the youth . The implication lies behind a simple logic that the youth were born ed in the country when it had already achieved freedom ; so it is less meaningful to them . Sometimes, one doesn't know the importance of things which one has unless one looses them . Apart from this there are many reasons behind it.But after all the odd aspects, there are feelings irresistible about this day. the feeling when i get up in the morning ,the essence in the air,the gratitude towards the freedom fighters& all.But as a matter of fact for me as a school boy now to a college hunk the day has lost its grandness . Hitherto,by gods grace at least it has not lost its moral value for me...

the adversity of food,
the ascending inflation,
the power-cuts,
the water-shortages,
for how long one can bear it on,
there are limits to one's patience;

the riots & terrorist attacks,
the killing of innocents,
the death of humanity,
the death of communal harmony,
for how long one can bear it on,
there are limits to one's patience;

the joke of democracy,
the misuse of power,
the suffering of minorities,
the open assassination of secularism,
for how long one can bear it on,
there are limits to one's patience;

its time to leave the comfort zone,
now there's no wait & watch,
now there's no sitting back,
its time to come out of the nutshell,
its time to change the system or the system would change one,
its time to stop talking & start doing,
one has had enough of it ,
after all the odds,
for how long one can bear it on,
there are limits to one's patience;
for how long one can bear it on,
there are limits to one's patience.

when all the yesterdays mistakes would wash-out;
when the frustration would convert into joy;
i guess my time would come in life ;

where all the agony will change into ecstasy,

where i would lead myself ,
where there would be nobody to follow,
someway or the other,
i guess my path would come in life;

where there's no compulsion but destiny;

where there's no disgrace but honor;
where there's no ambition but top;
i guess my place would come in life;

someday or the other ,

there won't be any time, there won't be any air,
there won't be any heartbeat ,
someday or the other i will rest in peace,no movement ,
no motion but only my soul will prevail;
that would be my destiny, surely my time,my path & my place would come ,
but not in life but after.....
